I was lucky to be a part of the Pixar Undergraduate Program of Summer 2017. This excellent program exposes undergraduate students to the feature animated film process at Pixar Animation Studios over a ten week period. Interns gain experience in a variety of aspects in animation, including: modeling, shading, rigging, lighting, FX, layout, and set dressing. Students meed weekly with department TD’s to review their work, and collaboration with both employees and fellow interns is utilized to create a well designed group project.
