JANUARY 2017 – PRESENT Responsible for lighting, rendering, and compositing shots using Katana, Nuke, and Pixar’s proprietary software. Establish and finetune the lighting setup on assigned shots accomplishing the desired lighting with the creative guidance of the Lighting DP or Supervisor of the project. Projects include: INCREDIBLES 2, COCO, MISS FRITTER’S RACING SKOOOL (DVD Short film) and CARS 3. Pixar Undergraduate Program – Pixar Animation Studios
JUNE 2016 – AUGUST 2016 Ten-week training program that introduces undergraduate students to the feature animated film process at Pixar Animation Studios. Gained experience in modeling, shading, rigging, lighting, FX, layout, cloth sim, and set dressing. Met weekly with department TD’s to review ongoing projects. Collaborated with employees and fellow PUPs to create a well-designed final group project. Lab Technician – The University of Texas at Dallas
AUGUST 2015 – DECEMBER 2016 Responsible for the maintenance and security of all lab computers and equipment. Provide technical support to faculty with software installations and general computer maintenance and troubleshooting. Chosen to assist in building and maintaining render farm through beta testing, as well as writing procedures and extensive documentation for further usage.
